CNN.com Borrows Some Balls
We were already looking forward to the first episode VBS.TV's Vice Guide to Liberia, but we had no idea its debut would go this big. CNN.com has partnered with VBS to host the Liberia series in its specials section, announcing that its staff "has recently been intrigued by the journalism of VICE" and that "the reports, which are produced solely by VICE, reflect a very transparent approach to journalism, where viewers are taken along on every step of the reporting process." Um, so what does that say about CNN's own approach? Anyway, CNN.com has also teamed with SubPop records and will be hosting "Indie Asia: On Tour with Handsome Furs" in its travel section, which will follow the Furs' travels across the continent, documented on Flip cams.
