Jeff Scruton, longtime executive producer at MJZ, has parted ways with the company. Scruton is currently exploring options for his next post and last served as senior executive producer. He started at MJZ seventeen years ago, when its roster was just four directors strong with Rocky & Annabel, Bob Richardson, Elma Garcia and Irv Blitz.
Prior to MJZ, Scruton had been a freelance producer and first A.D. at production companies like Coppos Films, Steifel & Company and Harmony, and before that, he produced music videos and concerts out of Warner Brothers, for artists like Van Halen, Dwight Yoakam and Rod Stewart. "It has been a terrific run at MJZ and I will definitely miss my MJZ family," Scruton says.
