as director of design/global brands. Hart has undertaken design work for Stella McCartney, Paul Smith, David Bowie, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Colette (Paris), Nike, Adidas, Selfridges (London), Microsoft
and Coke, where he originated its "Happiness Factory" and "Coke Side of Life"
designs. Hart has worked with agencies including Wieden + Kennedy (London), Sid Lee (Montreal), Mother
London and M&C Saatchi
and has created and operated several of his own design shops, including Reason to Be. While at Power Animal, he creatively directed the fashion brands Jean Machine and Hentsch Man. At Mullen, he will work closely with Brian Gunderson, director of design in the Mullen SF office.
Mistress, the L.A.-based independent agency, has hired Maggie O'Brien
as senior interactive producer as well as appointing a new creative team from Grey London. O'Brien's resume includes stints producing digital and integrated campaigns at such agencies as Goodby, Silverstein & Partners
, Droga 5 and Anomaly, as well as for Tool of North America. She also worked at EVB
in San Francisco, where her first project was Office Max's viral hit "Elf Yourself"

Toronto-based Blammo has named Michael Murray
as its new chief creative officer and partner. Murray joins the agency from CP+B Canada, where he served as ECD. Murray previously worked at Zig and Taxi on brands including Toronto Tourism, Ikea, Viagra and Vitamin Water. Originally from Ireland, his other experience includes working at TBWA
in the UK.
has been named to the board of directors for the National Audubon Society, the New York-based bird conservation association. Mr. Goody was one of the forces behind the company's "Birding the Net,
" campaign, which came out of Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, a social campaign that placed animated birds across homepages all over the Internet and invited to you to "find them."
Toronto agency Zulu Alpha Kilo is expanding, with the addition of Ron Smrczek
as ECD, and the promotion of Shane Ogilvie, who will also be ECD. Smrczek was previously at Taxi Toronto, so his move to Zulu is a bit of a reunion, since he used to work with Zulu Alpha Kilo founder and CCO Zak Mroueh at Taxi. Smrczek also spent time as ECD at Taxi New York and Taxi Europe, before leaving to join Milan's Commonwealth, where he was a creative director.
Google Creative Lab's Pam Scheideler
is jumping ship. The former head of production and operations is joining Deutsch
, Los Angeles as director of digital production. At Google, Ms. Scheideler built a team of video and interactive producers to work on ad campaigns as well as product innovation projects. Before Google, she was director of digital production at JWT
. She has also spent time at Crispin, Porter & Bogusky, where she was part of the team that won Cannes Titanium Lion for Twelpforce.
