Worldwide has announced it is launching a full service agency in the Nordic region, based in Stockholm with CEO Bjarte Eide at the helm as one of four founding partners. Martin Cedergen and Patrick Dry join as co-executive creative directors and Klara Eide is in charge of the agency's strategy and planning as executive strategy director. Cedergren has produced work for brands such as Carlsberg, Pepsico, Volvo, adidas, Nike, IKEA, Audi, MTV, Nokia, Atari, Yahoo, Volkswagen
, Save the Children and has served as juror at the D&AD (foreman), Cannes Lions (twice), Webby Awards, One Show, LIA and Clio. He joins from independent agency Akestam Holst
, where he was executive creative director. Previously he has held similar positions at 180 Amsterdam
, AQKA Amsterdam and Forsman & Bodenfors. Patrick Dry, executive creative director and partner, has worked with brands such as Carlsberg, Pepsico, Audi, Swedish Armed Forces, Volkswagen, McDonald's
and Save the Children. He also joins from Akestam Holst. Previously, he was at DDB
Cut+Run has signed Julia Knight (pictured, with managing director Leila Bartlam) as an editor. Knight has worked on films including the latest Mumford & Sons promo "Lover of the Light" directed by Idris Elba, and has worked on staff and freelance at amongst others Speade and Trim since 2003. Her recent work includes "It could be nothing" for the NSPCC, directed by Amanda Boyle through A+, which won Crystal at the 2012 APAs. She also edited Robbie Williams's "Different", directed by WIZ at Academy Films; "Revive" for Lucozade, directed by Warren and Nick through Stink; and commercials for brands including the BBC, Lancome, Nike, Armani, BMW and L'Oreal
Design agency Pearlfisher has created a new executive team for its New York office. Current strategy director, Tess Wicksteed, will be promoted into the newly created role of executive vice president (EVP), with responsibility for the overall leadership of strategy, client service and development, with founding managing partner Mike Branson becoming chief executive officer. As part of their wider responsibilities as founding creative partners of Pearlfisher, Jonathan Ford
and Karen Welman will assume the roles of joint chief creative officers (CCOs), working alongside creative director Hamish Campbell. Elliott Calo will take the role of chief financial officer.
