Javier Campopiano, the much-awarded DraftFCB Argentina creative, is moving to the U.S. to head up DraftFCB's New York operations as chief creative officer. Campopiano, who joins on February 4, became ECD of Draftfcb Argentina in 2010, and led creative on campaigns for brands including Oreo, Citric, Banco Macro, +vision, Club Social, JVC, ZonaJobs, KY Gel, Compumundo and Piero. In 2012, Draftfcb Argentina was the most awarded Argentinian agency at Cannes. Prior to joining DraftFCB, Campopiano worked at Del Campo Nazca Saatchi Saatchi. His first TV spot for Ariel won a Silver Lion at Cannes in 2008 and his efforts for Andes Beer included the "Andes Teletransporter" campaign which received an Outdoor Cannes Grand Prix in 2010. He has also worked at JWT Buenos Aires as creative director, at JWT regional hub EL HOTEL, and as a copywriter at Ogilvy Buenos Aires. Campopiano takes over the role formerly held by Darren Moran, who left the shop in late 2011 after spending just over a year there.
Ogilvy & Mather London has appointed Apple executive Brian Cooper as executive creative director. His initial focus will be on the global Philips account, but will then extend to other brands within the agency. Cooper was head of creative and strategy, EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) for iAd, Apple's mobile advertising platform. He will report to Gerry Human, who becomes chief creative officer, Ogilvy & Mather London. Prior to joining Apple in September 2011, Cooper was global ECD at Wieden + Kennedy, where he led the creative and strategic output of Nokia across all Wieden + Kennedy offices worldwide. He also spent two years as creative director of Dare, where he oversaw the creative output of Dare London and Dare NY including campaigns for Sony Xperia and Vodafone.
MPC has added to its NY-based team, hiring Camila De Biaggi as co-head of production alongside Derek Macleod-Veilleux, and Claudia Guevara as head of color. Both women join MPC from The Mill. The announcement follows the recent addition of Adrian Seery as the studio's first colorist in New York and the promotion of Ed Koenig to U.S. EP of color grading. De Biaggi, who has teamed up with directors Simon McQuoid, Victor Garcia, Andy Fogwill, Marco Brambilla, Peter Thwaites, and Jim Jenkins, has worked on campaigns including the Rock Giant spot for Johnnie Walker. Guevara has overseen grading work in spots for Axe, Hennessy, Fiat, Jordan Brand, the NFL, Land Rover, Coca-Cola, Mercedes-Benz, Budweiser, Ford, Johnnie Walker, State Farm, and Puma.
Anonymous Content has hired Lisa Sabatino as co-director, West Coast Sales and Marketing, partnering with Jeremy Hodges who has been with the company since 2010. For the past two years, Sabatino has run West Coast Sales and Marketing for Uber Content, and prior to that, she spent six years on Anonymous Content's East Coast Sales team. Sabatino holds the same role and responsibilities for Anonymous Content sister company, Serial Pictures.
