@PublicisOmnico_, the Franglais (French and English)-tweeting twitter parody account was created just as news of Publicis-Omnicom Group mega-merger hit, providing sardonic commentary throughout the day with references to popular culture and recent industry news.
Some of the most re-tweeted were the very astute "If you really think about it, we're kind of like a Cronut," referring to the croissant/donut hybrid that has taken New York by storm, and "Apologies for announcing the merger on a Sunday. It was supposed to be on Friday, but Lotus Notes," of course, alluding to Publicis employees' frustration with the archaic email and calendar software that became public knowledge late last week.
