Stink once again did not live up to its name in '09, thanks to the talent of director Adam Berg, who directed the Cannes Film Grand Prix-winning, highly viral clown burglar opus "Carousel" for Philips. The work came out of the shop's digital arm, which also crafted a gorgeous website for Leo Burnett's Shelter "House of Cards" campaign. Other shining Stink moments include James Brown's roller girl escapades for Bonds, and Neo's lightbulb parade in "Economy Drive" for Audi. Les Uns made pure comedy out of boredom in Breathe Right Theater, while Ivan Zacharias got VW's chief designer into a fantastic fisticuffs with multiple doppelgangers. For Ogilvy Argentina Stylewar created a seemingly shroom-inspired spectacle in Coca-Cola's "Big Splash. Former U.K. roster directors Psyop signed with Smuggler this year, but the shop added the multimedia talents of The Ebeling Group in a representation partnership. Stink grew Stateside as well, bringing in Matt Factor to lead its U.S. outpost Skunk.
