Tom Kuntz Wins Commercials DGA Award
The MJZ director takes home the honor after his third DGA nomination; RSA's Kathyrn Bigelow wins feature nod

Last night at the 62nd Annual Directors Guild of America Awards Dinner at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles, MJZ director Tom Kuntz finally went home with the DGA award for outstanding directorial achievement in commercials, after his third nomination for the honor (he was also nominated in 2006 and 2008). Kuntz bested fellow MJZ director Craig Gillespie, Anonymous' Garth Davis, Park Pictures' Joaquin Baca-Asay and Chris Palmer of Gorgeous Enterprises.
The director earned the title based on his direction on Cadbury's "Eyebrows," out of Fallon, London, W+K, Portland spots "Tips" for Career Builder and "Scents for Gents," for Old Spice and Skittles' "Tailor," via TBWA/Chiat/Day, New York.
