Thank you for your interest in submitting your film to the No Spot Short Film Festival.
No Spot was founded in 2003 by Creativity magazine as an outlet for aspiring filmmakers with day jobs in the agency field to showcase their work. Now approaching its fourth anniversary, the Festival's mission is to create platforms for filmmakers to reach the best possible audience for their work.
Deadline for Entries - June 8
ENTRY MATERIALS
All entries must include the following:
1. DigiBeta labeled with the work's title, running time, director(s) name(s), contact number and email
2. The official No Spot Film Festival entry form completed and signed
3. Entry Fee (non-refundable). If paying by check or money order, include with submission
4. One production still (via digital JPEG)
Optional - any available press materials including production credit list, director bio and photo
Please note: Submitted materials will not be returned. Entries will not be accepted for preview on film, and the Festival is unable to arrange screenings on film for potential entries.
MULTIPLE ENTRIES
• Each entered work must be accompanied by its own entry form, and
by a DigiBeta; please do not send a compilation video or DVD.
• You may use a single box/envelope for all works you submit at the
same time.
• You may use a check to cover entry fees for all works you submit at
the same time.
ELIGIBILITY
• Film must be 20 minutes or less in length. Nothing over 20 minutes
will be accepted
• Categories include: live action narrative, animation, mixed media,
documentary, machinima
• Independently made and brand sponsored content is eligible
• Films created for any platform are eligible (including film/theater, TV,
mobile, video games and viral/online)
• Non-English language works must have English subtitles or be
accompanied by dialogue lists in both English and the original
language. If invited, works must have English subtitles for exhibition.
