Poke New York has partnered with American Idol creators 19 Entertainment on its new stars-in-the-making saga, If I Can Dream. Set to launch early this year, the "interactive cultural experiment" gives viewers a real-time, multiplatform window into the worlds of five aspiring stars living in L.A.—and a chance to join them in their quest for fame.
The If I Can Dream site's House portal will allow viewers to get an overview of the goings on and see the whereabouts of each cast member. The audience will be able to see all sides of the talents' stories, 24-7, through any of the 50+ cameras set up throughout the house. They can also kick back and see things from the producer's camera or watch highlights on a weekly TV show exlusive to Hulu.com. Those who really want to get in on the story, will be able to audition for a spot in the house via MySpace.
