We recently featured long-copy billboards, for an L.A. newsradio traffic report, that are intended to be read, logically enough, while stuck in traffic. What about these, from Santa Monica's Colby & Partners? "These boards were designed to tie in to a TV campaign that features customers telling stories about their experiences with 21st," explains ECD Rick Colby. "We decided to tell the stories on the boards as well." As for the speed factor, "each board features one of the best things about 21st in red, so if you're driving fast you'll still see the key feature. But if you were stuck in traffic, you could read the entire story." And maybe even knit thick wool socks.
