7-Eleven Becomes a Wedding Chapel for Stockholm's Gay Pride Festival

Where Love and Slurpees Meet

Editor's Pick

Last week during this week's Stockholm Pride Parade, 7-Eleven lived up to its name as a "convenience" store by transforming one of its locations into a pop-up marriage venue, the 7-Eleven wedding chapel. Among the participants were Ludovic Mohamed Zahed, one of few openly homosexual Imams, who presided over the marriage of a lesbian Islamic couple.

The idea was conceived by Swedish agency Wenderfalck.
