9/11 Day Organization Encourages Good Deeds on the Anniversary

Editor's Pick

Children born on 9/11 serve as a message of hope in a spot by non-profit the 9/11 Day Organization, encouraging people to perform good deeds on the anniversary of the tragic events.

Created pro bono by agency Grey New York, and directed by Adam Reid of Bodega Studios, the ad opens with faces of children born on the day, and then focuses on one particular teenager, Hillary O'Neill, who offers up a message of hope and resilience. It's a positive take on the anniversary, with O'Neill telling us how "the world has changed" since 2001. She also encourages people to perform good deeds on the day, and there's a social media element to the campaign where they can share them online. The spot ends with the words: "Share your good deed this #911Day."

9/11 Day Organization is dedicated to supporting the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance, founded in 2002.
