Fred Armisen Sucks at Casting in Absolut Elyx Star-Studded Charity Linkup Ad

New Shop Naked Luxury Creates Celebrity-Filled Spot With Miles Teller, Chloe Sevigny, Taylor Kitsch

Editor's Pick

Fred Armisen directs, and stars in, a fun star-studded film for Absolut's Elyx, promoting the premium vodka's partnering with nonprofit Water for People to bring potable water to 100,000 people worldwide.

The spot, by Naked Communications' newly launched luxury arm Naked Luxury, sees "Portlandia" star Armisen audition a series of celebrities, including Taylor Kitsch, Miles Teller, Chloe Sevigny, George Wallace, Natasha Lyonne (who's also EP) and Aimee Man for an ad, but mess it up entirely. Of course, their "auditions" make the real ad, and it's a great way of getting the ulterior message across. The goal of the campaign is that for every bottle of Absolut Elyx bought, a week's worth of drinking water will be brought to people in need.
