Call of Duty's 'Replacer' Stands In for Marshawn Lynch in 'Awakening' Trailer

Peter Stormare Reprises His Role as Fake You

Editor's Pick

Back in 2013, Activision's "Call of Duty" introduced us to "The Replacer." Played by Peter Stormare ("Prison Break," "Fargo") he's a guy who stands in for you in all kinds of important task because you're too busy playing the game.

Having appeared in several spots since then, he's back in a trailer for Call of Duty Black Ops 3's "Awakening," out on Feb. 2. As well as being the fake you in tasks like meeting your girlfriend's parents, walking the dogs and talking to your kid about the birds and bees, he stands in for Marshawn Lynch at a press conference, refusing to answer questions and stuffing Skittles in his mouth. Oh, and he also stands in for a supermodel on a runway.

Comedy director Jason Woliner of Caviar helmed the spot for 72andSunny; it also gives a sneak preview of the game, which includes an "insane zombies" episode.
