Ad Council: Hiding
We wonder about his seeking abilities.
Campbell Ewald's PSA for the Ad Council has a simple conceit: Matt Lauer, hiding, everywhere he can. The spot launched Monday on Today, as part of a series that will feature other anchors for the show, like Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Natalie Morales, each of whom will be spotlighting issues that are close to their hearts.
According to the agency, Lauer and the team at Campbell Ewald discussed other possibilities for the spot, including recreating the Red Bull Stratos Jump and having him appear on air after his kids had gone to town on his face with a permanent marker. But we think this simple, powerful spot, is definitely a winner.
