Editor's Pick

Austin-based actor Matthew McConaughey narrates a PSA by the Ad Council encouraging Hurricane Harvey relief efforts, telling us, "Harvey can't mess with Texas."

The spot, by Austin agency GSD&M, is part of an effort by the Ad Council and several organizations, which directs viewers to HurricaneHarveyAid.org, an online resource center where they can make a donation to national and local relief organizations that are spearheading the relief and recovery. It adapts the state's famous tagline "Don't Mess With Texas," created in 1985 for the Texas Department of Transportation as an anti-litter campaign.

Several other local agencies took part in the pro-bono effort, which includes another spot by Free Range Studios using animated bank notes to encourage cash donations.
