"You don't have to be perfect to be a perfect parent" is the tagline of this series of spots created pro bono by kirshenbaum bond senecal+partners and Revolucion on behalf of the Ad Council.

A joint effort with U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Administration for Children and Families and AdoptUSKids, the ads coincide with National Adoption Week and promote the adoption and fostering of older kids ages 8 to 12. They seek to reassure prospective parents that they can provide stability and security for older children, taking a humorous look at parents who aren't quite perfect - the mom who puts mayo on her kids instead of sunscreen, the Dad who's hopeless at home improvement, or the parent who sets a bad example by chasing the ice cream van.
