A&E: Coma Conspiracy

They're stalking you.

Published on Aug 09, 2012

Editor's Pick

A&E is targeting potential viewers of its forthcoming show Coma with opt-in banner ads that send creepy stalker-type messages to the recipient. Consumers are being prompted to sign in with their details at the ComaConspiracy site to "help uncover the Coma conspiracy". Those who take the bait will then be targeted with a series of ads for the fictional "Jefferson Institute" from the series, that get more and more specific about their name, whereabouts and other details. The campaign, created in partnership with IKON3. kicked off last month with a YouTube video, which was shown at Comic-Con.
