Air New Zealand -- an airline that knows how to entertain us with its funny safety videos -- has had the fabulous-sounding idea of inviting "Late Late Show" host James Corden to bring his viral hit "Carpool Karaoke" to the cockpit of their planes.

The airline posted a video to Facebook inviting the comedian and actor to do #CockpitKaraoke and encouraging him to respond to their pitch, via Snapchat, DM, Twitter or just good old-fashioned "Message in a Bottle."

We'll be fascinated to see if he does. So far, no, but Air New Zealand is continuing the theme by posting a mocked-up picture of Drake seated in a cockpit to its Facebook page, with the hashtag #DrakesonaPlane.
