In Latest Emotive Film, Air Wick Creates a Memento of Home for Three Downsizing Couples

This Time, Brand Distills the Scent of Home as a Parting Gift

Last year, Air Wick gave a military father the gift of a fragrance based on home for a holiday gift in a moving film through Droga5. This holiday season, the brand is doing the same, but for three couples who are moving out of their beloved family homes after decades, as they downsize and move to smaller premises.

The film, directed by Zachary Heinzerling (a documentary maker Academy Award-nominated for "Cutie and the Boxer"), takes the three couples -- from the U.K., Italy / Germany and the U.S. -- and focuses on what's important to them about home, from the flowers in the garden to the mulled wine in the kitchen, before we find out what's in their customized home fragrance created by Air Wick's perfumer. Their personalities and eccentricities are lovingly portrayed -- and knowing that they're leaving their homes forever makes the film extra specially emotive.
