Allianz Targeted French Drivers on Remote Roads With This 'Roadside Sculpture'
Insurance Company Promoted Offer to Replace Your Car Within One Hour

To communicate its promise of giving customers a replacement car within one hour of their vehicle breaking down, insurance company Allianz and agency Ogilvy Paris built this "roadside sculpture" of two cars melded together. The sculpture, featuring a brand new-looking car atop an older, smashed up version, was strategically placed in locations along driving routes where, the advertiser reckoned, you would really not want to be stranded without a vehicle. It was launched at the Paris Auto Show and now sits outside Allianz's French headquarters.
