Allianz: Haunted House

In Hungary, insurance company Allianz used augmented reality to demonstrate to its target audience how accidents can occur in the home and promote its home insurance offering. Working with its agency, Grey, and augmented reality company AR Works, it built a pop up building in the centre of Budapest. On arrival, visitors received an iPad and were invited to walk around and check different parts of the flat with the tablet. An augmented reality app showed them potential accidents and incidents, such as vegetables in a work catching fire; the fish tank breaking; tiles being blown off a roof and a burglar breaking in.
