Mannequins at American Apparel Now Sport Merkins

Dov Charney Has an Opinion, Y'All

Editor's Pick

If you weren't aware, there's a debate going on right now about whether women should or shoudn't maintain their pubic hair. Cameron Diaz already told us what she thinks all women should do with their genitalia. Now American Apparel CEO Dov Charney wants to tell us his opinion (which nobody asked for.) To make his feelings clear, American Apparel on East Houston St. in NYC has put up mannequins sporting a full bush, 1970s style. The stunt seems to extend the '70s porny ethos that has come to define the brand's advertising all the way to the shop window. Photos/Hat Tip Jen Chung/Gothamist.
