Voicemail that calls for change

Editor's Pick

To draw attention to human rights activists needing help around the world, Amnesty International Portugal offered supporters the chance to donate their own cellphone voicemail message to the cause.

All they had to do was go to the organization's website, make a donation and choose a pre-recorded message by one of the activists. They could then place it in their cellphone voicemail, so anyone leaving them a message could hear the activist's request for help. A film, radio spots and print ads supported the campaign.
