Andes: A Singular Man

Oh, bottle fingers!

Editor's Pick

It seems--at first--that love can conquer all, in this deceptively romantic, cinematic spot out of Del Campo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi, and directed by Nico & Martin, for Andes Beer. A kind young woman takes on a job as caretaker of a rich agoraphobic. Apparently, he's afraid to leave his home because of an unusual condition--he has beer bottles stuck to the tips of his fingers. One day, he wakes up, his hands bottle free--what appears to be the magical result of the woman's nurturing--or, is it?

The spot takes an elegant, more traditional turn from the agency's previous work for the brand, which comprises outrageous stunts that helped beer drinkers escape from boring family functions, or a "virtual self" that allowed them to sit with the guys for a round of drinks, even though they were stuck at home with their lady.
