Andy Leek: David Shrigley Font

Write like Shrigley.

Editor's Pick

Creative Andy Leek created this new font based on the writing style of artist David Shrigley. Actually, turns out it's pulled from the real work of Shrigley, says Leek, but done with good intentions. "I see this as a sort of art version of a fan made music video or fan fiction stories," says Leek. "I absolutely love his work and he is someone that I would very much like the chance to meet, or even collaborate with one day in my professional career, so if this leads to that, brilliant. I will be disappointed if Mr Shrigley feels like I have stolen from him, or ripped him off in any way as that was not my intention, and if he requested I would of course immediately take the site down. I haven't heard from David Shrigley about it. I really hope, that as I am not making any money from it, he would take it as a compliment."

That said, in order to obtain the font, you'll have to pay with a Tweet or give it love on Facebook. Either that or email the artist, who will send it to you directly, along with some pictures of his cat.
