Anomaly London: One Thousand Cranes for Japan - Laura Quick

Make a crane for Japan

Published on

Editor's Pick

Based on the ancient Japanese legend which promises that anyone who folds a thousand origami cranes will be granted a wish, Anomaly London created this project to raise funds for Japan in the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami.

In return for a donation to the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund, visitors to the One Thousand Cranes for Japan site can print off illlustrations donated by famous artists and illustators. They are then invited to make their origami crane and display it prominently or share it on the Facebook page.
