Want to know how Apple's brilliant iPhone tribute for its 30th anniversary was done? Agency TBWA/Media Arts Lab has also released a behind-the-scenes film, revealing some of its secrets. It explains how individual filming crews were sent to 10 locations around the world, from Melbourne to the West Coast of the US, to obtain simultaneous footage, with each crew using an iPhone to capture video that was then sent to a receiver in a backpack. This allowed footage to be sent instantly back to director Jake Scott. The crews also used Facetime to communicate with the production team.
