Well, it seems Dwayne Johnson has at least learned a few words, for a new Chinese cinema spot that's part of his current campaign for Apple's Siri. The company this week started to roll out the second wave of the campaign internationally, starting in the U.S. and China followed by Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, and the U.K.
In the exclusive spot for the Chinese market, The Rock orders Siri to turn on the "Do Not Disturb mode." There are also several 15 second cut-downs of the longer film that see him take a selfie in space, add the finishing touches to his culinary masterpiece and switch on his gym lights while taking a break from making his latest blockbuster.
The rollout of the additional ads represents Apple's concerted effort to create more bite-sized content to promote Siri. Meanwhile, the original three-and-half-minute film has currently garnered more than 23 million views across social media.
