Apple is pushing the health benefits of owning an iPhone, via a new, Nike-esque TV spot by TBWA Media Arts Lab. It features iPhoners doing all sorts of active things, using their devices to track their deadlifts and runs, measure their golf swings, and watch inspirational and instructive videos. It's set to "Chicken Fat," a song that was composed, originally, for JFK's physical fitness program for schools in the U.S.
Apple is of course pushing health, following the footsteps of other consumer electronics companies like Samsung. HealthKit, which was demo'd by Apple at WWDC this week, is a new software available with iOS 8 that will let people track your activity and health data.
