Arguably the most talked about thing from last September's television broadcast of the Emmy Awards was Apple Music's feelgood ad in which Kerry Washington, Taraji P. Henson and Mary J. Blije get together for an intimate girlfriend house party, dancing and reminiscing about mixtapes and past boyfriends.
Created out of Translation and directed by "Selma" director Ava Duvernay out of RSA Films, the ad was the first of what would be a three-part series featuring the stars. Recently, Apple Music debuted "Part Two" of the trilogy. Here, the dancing continues, this time, around Mr. Blije's kitchen counter, where Ms. Washington puts together a "recipe-makin,' night-with-the-girls" playlist, Ms. Henson gets her sexy on, Ms. Blije has fun with a knife and a salsa party ensues.
The tag then reads, "Kitchen dance-off service."
