It's truly the week of dramatic voiceovers. First, Visa used an Amelia Earhart speech to back its new Olympics ad, then the BBC tapped Game of Thrones actor Charles Dance for its own Sochi promo. Now, Apple gets the gravelly voice of Robin Williams to recite some of the dialog from 1989's "Dead Poets Society," (which in turn features some Walt Whitman) to promote its "Life on iPad" campaign. The spot, which runs 90 seconds long, is dubbed the "Your Verse Anthem," and shows people doing wonderful things on their iPads (and not playing Candy Crush), all in an attempt to lend a verse to the poem that is life.
