Canadian visual communications magazine Applied Arts has announced its 13th Annual Design & Advertising call for entries via an unusually illustrated brochure from Toronto agency MacLaren McCann. Based on the theme "Awards. Without the show part," all the usual call-for-entries fine print is pepped up with cartoony depictions of the downside of awards shows. It's downright nasty, which is nice. The entry deadline is June 25, by the way. Click here for details..
