To combat the overwhelming lack of knowledge about diabetes in Argentina, McCann Argentina has devised some funny -- and spot-on -- ads, featuring the former manager of the Argentine national soccer team, Carlos Salvador Bilardo. An urban legend has it that the manager used to prick rival players in his footballing days, using needles. The spots use the legend to encourage people to test for diabetes more frequently.
