Asics America has added volleyball to its mix of cool experiential campaigns. Late last year, the brand put curious New Yorkers in elite runner Ryan Hall's shoes on the eve of the New York City Marathon. This week, the sports brand promotes the Asics World Series of Beach Volleyball -- which continues through this weekend -- by recreating for fans the experience of facing off against Olympic gold medalist Kerri Walsh Jennings.
The agency created a high-powered volleyball cannon that shoots balls at 65mph, the serving speed of top pros. The cool part about it? Online viewers can control it from the comfort of their own desks. Check it out in action here.
