Saatchi & Saatchi's latest effort on behalf of the ASPCA, a campaign of New York newspaper and outdoor ads, is intended to "raise awareness of animal welfare without making people feel sorry for the animals," says designer Kevin Li. "We intentionally photographed these animals to look noble and proud, not weak and defenseless. The hand-drawn type was our way of making each ad unique, much like the voice of each animal would be."
