JWT Amsterdam raised money for the homeless by putting more homeless people on the street -- specifically, plastic "homeless" mannequins. In a stunt for Belangenbehartiging Amsterdamse Dak- en Thuislozen (BADT), an advocacy organization for the homeless, the agency put mannequins in shabby used clothes out on the street. Each of them had a rough cut-out money slot on the top of their heads. It was a smart way to gather donations at the moment of most sympathy -- when passersby passed these "homeless people" sleeping on the street, or huddled under blankets.
