Ballantine's Keeps It Real With Spot Showcasing Drummer

New Global Campaign Applauds Authenticity

Editor's Pick

Brands are always urging consumers to keep it real, but some do it better than others. Here, Ballantine's applauds authenticity and self-belief in an energetic spot from M&C Saatchi, imploring consumers to "stay true." It features drummer Ben Mead, who has rejected the traditional path of record contracts and instead favors less well-known venues where his band feel that their music is best appreciated.

The spot, shot by Jake Nava, kicks off a global campaign that also includes print ads, below-the-line work by M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment, and a digital campaign through Work Club. It is rolling out across South America, southern and central Europe, with other markets globally rolling out throughout 2013 and into 2014.
