Licking stamps never tasted this good.

Editor's Pick

Belgium is known for its chocolates, so bpost, the Belgian postal service, has launched postage stamps that both smell and taste of chocolate.

According to bpost, although it's not the first time it has created a stamp smelling of chocolate (there were previous attempts in 1999 and 2006), it's the first time the flavor has actually been incorporated. Gourmet photographer Tony Le Duc and graphic artist Katleen Miller were among those who worked on the project, in a team that also included people from Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

Five different overseas stamps devoted to different types of chocolate go on sale on 25th March - if you don't live in Belgium but want to sample them, you can send an email to philately@bpost.be.
