Bloomberg Businessweek Features Its First Topless Cover Model

Photo Highlights Story About Abercrombie & Fitch's Decline

Editor's Pick

What better way to highlight a cover story on Abercrombie & Fitch than with a black and white photo of a man's bare chest? Bloomberg Businessweek recruited its first topless model to illustrate an article about the once popular clothing retailer, but to call attention to the fact that the brand is on the decline, it featured a picture of an aged man's saggy, wrinkly chest, shot by Finlay McKay.

Described by Ad Age as "gross and awesome," the cover was tweeted today by BBW Editor-in-Chief Josh Tyrangiel. Read more about the evolution of the idea in the mag's very funny "Cover Trail" article, featuring a conversation between Mr. Tyrangiel and BBW Creative Director Rob Vargas and see a video about it too.
