Today in London MINI revealed its aspirations to move into the two-wheeler market with the MINI Scooter E Concept. The brand unveiled three different interpretations of the bike by Adrian van Hooydonk, senior VP BMW Group Design. Two of those will be featured at next week's Paris Motor Show, while one will be shown exclusively in London. The concept hopes to address urban mobility of the future—it uses a smartphone as the ignition key, it's eco-friendly—powered by an electric motor rechargeable through conventional power sockets and it integrates "infotainment," navigation and communication systems. And, of course looks-wise, it adheres to MINI's stylish heritage.
