Gin brand Bombay Sapphire has launched a series of five short films at the Tribeca Film Festival, created by aspiring film-makers as a result of its of its Imagination Series film competition, which is now in its second year. All five are different interpreations of the same script, written by script writer Geoffrey Fletcher and stripped of any stage directions. The brand encouraged people to enter their film of his script, and, via content agency Gravity Road, the five most imaginative were selected, produced and premiered at the Festival on the 22nd April.
Last year, in the first year of the competition, one of the short films, entitled Room 8, subsequently won the 2014 Bafta award for British Short Film. This year's entries, which can be seen here, are Exit Log from UK film-maker Chris Cornwell; Reflections from the UK's Anthony Khaseria; Graffiti Area from Spain's Maite Fernandez, The Other Side of the Game from U.S director Kiara Jones and Need for Speed (Dating) from another American, Allyson Morgan.
