The theme of Booking.com's latest series of humorous ads is a look at how booking the perfect accommodation can change your life. Our hero goes from meeting his future wife at a backpackers' hostel to taking his kids to an eco lodge, writing a bestselling book in a log cabin, launching it in a five-star hotel in Tokyo, and finally bonding with his father-in-law while hang gliding at a castle resort. As always with this brand, and agency Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam, it's done with a nice sense of the absurd. Dante Ariola at MJZ directed.
The campaign, which also includes digital and social media ads, launches across the U.S. this weekend, and will roll out in the coming weeks in Canada, the U.K., Germany and Australia.
