Brinca Dada, the firm behind design-minded toys like the Emerson and Bennett dollhouses, has come out with a line of sophisticated building blocks that look pulled from the sketchbooks of Frank Gehry.
According to Brinca Dada founder/CEO Doug Rollins, the blocks were designed to appeal to both kids and adults--at home in both "the playroom or at your desk," he says. "Unlike blocks that fit together simply, these blocks are designed to conflict. . .playing with the simplicity of imperfection. They are a puzzle with infinite solutions. They are spontaneous, not pre-programmed--the opposite of video games. Most of all they are fun. . .and a little addicting."
Rollins says the blocks will be on sale starting November 1 for $59.
