British Airways: Pushpin Art Campaign -- Statue of Liberty

Push-pins make posters.

Published on Oct 08, 2012

Editor's Pick

British Airways and BBH Asia Pacific have created a series of posters advertising US destinations available from India that feature "push-pin" art. Artist Wesley West used over six thousand regular push-pins to create the images, choreographing each pin to allow for a 3D effect. Still life photographer Leon Steele then captured the three six-foot tall images: the Statue of Liberty, the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge and a Rodeo moment. West can be seen arranging the push pins in this making of video.
