BSSP Creatives Go Agency Trick-or-Treating for Halloween

'Bruce Jenner' and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle's 'Raphael' Go Knocking on Jeff Goodby and Jamie Barrett's Doors

If you're looking for tasty treats this Halloween, you might consider knocking on Jeff Goodby's door.

That's what Butler Shine Stern and Partners' Senior Copywriter Evan Maranca and Digital Art Director Ben Alasuvanto discovered when they decided to change up the trick or treating game this year and visited other San Francisco agencies to fill up their goodie bags.

The pair, dressed as pre-op Bruce Jenner (Maranca) and the reptilian hero (Alasuvanto), paid a visit to shops including Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, BarrettSF, Venables Bell & Partners, BBDO, DDB and Pereira & O'Dell. At GS&P, they discovered that co-founder Jeff Goodby was a really good sport, even after they stopped by his office multiple times -- though in the end, he ended up tossing dog treats into their bags. Barrett SF founder Jamie Barrett also offered them goodies, but only after they asked him "Brief or treat?"

Pereira & O'Dell and R/GA, however, had zero candy, inspiring Maranca and Alasuvanto to pull those popular Halloween pranks involving TP and a flaming bag of dog poop (which in reality was just a rock).
