Anheuser-Busch's latest fine-art foray features an elaborate online partnership with e-zine publisher Flavorpill. Over the course of this year, in Flavorpill's publications and on www.flavorpill.net/select, A-B will feature ads for its hipster-minded Budweiser Select label, created by hipster-minded artists. The only requirement is the inclusion of the Select crown logo; even the "Expect everything" tag is optional. "A-B has been very encouraging about allowing the artists freedom to interpret the brand in their own style," says Flavorpill co-founder Sascha Lewis. In November, after all the artwork has rolled out, the Flavorpill audience will vote on a winner, whose work will be showcased in outdoor ads in major cities. Seen here and in the PDF is work by Adhemas, www.adhemas.com, as well as a piece (#5) by Neuarmy, www.neuarmy.com. Artists to be featured in future installments of the project include Rachel Domm, Hypnoteis, Ninja Cruise and Oksana Badrak.
