Seemingly taking a page from the demented Diesel parody playbook, then dipping it in Old Navy gravy, Montreal-based Buffalo Jeans does a print spin on movie trailers for its fall 2005 ad campaign. "This form of graphic streamlining is a targeting tool that outstrips a series of square still pictures and fixed film sets," says AD Farah Dib. "Fall 2005 is a scheme to get Buffalo consumers to strut their jeans with their tails in the air." Hence the presence of the Devious Denim Damsels and a token Devious Guy. As Dib explains, "Rhys Khon is swift and savvy; Atiki Kan is feisty and foxy; Kisa Belov is lethally mesmerizing and charming; and Stella Strip is intriguingly smooth and seductive." She's also a chilly Miss Winter. See the PDF as well for the peculiarly intriguing notion of "butt botox." The photography is by the noted Canadian fashion team of Leda & St-Jacques, www.leda-st-jacques.com.
