Burger King France Will Help You Move House to Be Nearer a Whopper

Social Campaign Revolves Around Brand's Return to the Country

Burger King France is running a social media campaign promising to pay for the winner to move to a new home--as long as they move to a town with a BK restaurant. The Whopper MoveOut campaign, created by Paris agency Buzzman, invites anyone who wants to move to register on its Facebook page by this week. The person who lives the farthest distance away from a Burger King will win the free move, although they must move between March 1 and April 30.

The campaign comes after Burger King decided to reopen in France at the end of 2013, after pulling out of the country in 1997. The fast food chain has promised to open 400 restaurants and so far has opened 20, with locations including Paris, Lyon and Lille. Last month, the U.K.'s Mirror newspaper reported that the new restaurant opening in Lille was overrun by more than 6,000 customers at a grand opening where BK gave away free food.
